No. 26, Gyokuro

Another organic masterpiece from Mr. Konishi.  This beautifully crafted and shaded tea resonates with rich umami notes and a clear Harumidori character, yet in the hands of this elegant tea maker, it blooms anew and finds new depths.  Spring harvested, higher-elevation (relative to Japan) grown buds reveal a complex and herbaceous cup with concentrated notes of fresh edamame, fleeting chestnut-like notions of kofuki squash and burdock root. It elicits an uplifting energy and profound clarity and elegance, much like the farmer himself. One of a kind.

Produced without chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Organic. Packaged in 57g nitrogen flush sachets.
