Excellent Tea

A great cup of tea begins and ends with the quality of the leaves. Selecting excellent leaves, grown with care, and skillfully processed is the first step!

Step 2

Prepping the tea leaves

For easy steeping, we suggest using either a tea strainer or our biodegradable filter bags. For most teas, we suggest 1-2 teaspoons of leaves per 8 ounces of water.

Step 3

spring or filtered water

Always brew your tea with spring or filtered water. It is worth the effort and makes a significant difference. Tap water and reverse osmosis does not produce optimal results.

Step 4

Proper Temperature

Proper water temperature is essential to extracting the finest flavor profile from leaves and botanicals. Refer to the tea packaging for the best temperature for your tea.

Step 5

Brewing Time

Over-brewing and under-brewing the leaves will result in a subpar cup so always reference the tea packaging. Even leaves within the same generalized category, for example, Chinese White Teas, can have significantly different brewing times.
