Limited No. 61, Keemun Imperial Black Snail

The young leaves and buds of the Chu Ye Zhong cultivar create this wonderfully complex tea. Creamy notes of caramel and cocoa, laurel and pine, give way to a finish of rich malt and smoke. 

Keemun Imperial Black Snail is a Bellocq Limited Tea. It has been purchased in a small quantity and is available only from our tea atelier and online. 

Origin: Huang Jian Village, Anhui Province, China 2019

Brewing Instructions:  

• 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml  
• 195ºF/90ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 1 minute, and proceed.)  
• Brew 5-7 minutes  
• Good for 2 infusions
