Loose Leaf Yellow Tea

There is an inherent and natural elegance to yellow teas. Exclusive to China, yellow teas are similar to green teas in terms of taste and production methods, however, yellow teas are encouraged to ferment slightly before being halted by a brief wok firing process.  The result is a crisp, buttery brew rich with pleasant vegetal notes. Producing this sophisticated tea is labor intensive, but well worth the effort.
