No. 36, Darjeeling 2nd Flush, Namring Upper Estate FTGFOP1

One of Darjeeling's oldest estates, Namring Upper Estate is located in the Teesta Valley, and has been in operation since 1855.  

Harvested during the second flush, this lovely black tea is mellow with suggestions of pecan shell while enjoying classic muscatel notes that finish with honey and stone fruit. 

Origin: Namring Upper Estate, Darjeeling, India - 2021

Grade: Classic Muscatel, FTGFOP1

Elevation: 3000ft to 5500ft

 

    • Brewing Instructions

      • 1-2 tsp per 8oz/250ml  
      • 195F/90ºC  (Bring cold, fresh spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 1 minute, and proceed.)  
      • Brew 4-6 minutes  
      • Good for 2 infusions
