An elegant and evocative white tea from Northern Fujian, Gong Mei translates to 'Tribute Eyebrow'.  Rich in fragrance and body, repeated infusions produce a fresh, smooth brew with voluptuous character. The plucking standard of Gong Mei, one bud and two-to-three leaves, creates a complexity and depth that resonates long on the palate and throat. 

This exceptional Gong Mei is sourced from a small family garden in the Wu Yi mountains of Fujian. This tea is purchased in small quantities and is a limited edition selection.

 Origin: Zheng He County, Fujian Province, China, late March 2022

Cultivar: Cai Cha 

Plucking Standard: One bud, two to three leaves

    • brewing

      • 1-2 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water 
      • 175ºF/80ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 3 minutes, and proceed.) 
      • Brew 4-6 minutes 
      • Good for 2-3 infusions
