Onna-Bugeisha Tetsubin


There's a new girl in town: the Onna-Bugeisha Tetsubin. Forged from cast iron, it's inspired by the traditional Japanese tetsubin used in tea ceremony. This unique piece is an exquisite addition to your collection and the enameled interior prevents rusting while the removable stainless steel strainer allows for ease of brewing.     Please note: cast iron pots with enameled interiors are not recommended for stove top use, but simply as a teapot.

    Hand wash recommended and dry thoroughly.

    Allow teapot to cool completely after each use before cleaning.

    Do no use soaps or detergents.

    Avoid contact with salt/oils.

    Do not leave water or tea in pot for extended period of time.

    Rinse and clean thoroughly with warm water only.

    Wipe the inside and outside dry with a clean cloth while the pot is still warm (not hot!) - Invert the pot to air dry before putting back infuser and lid.

    Infuser can be cleaned with or without soapy water.

    Approximate Dimensions: 5-1/4" x 7" x 4"h. - 0.9L / 30 oz. capacity.

    Cast Iron. - Dry thoroughly to store.
