About No. 27, Keemun Hao Ya

The young leaves and buds of the Chu Ye Zhong cultivar create this wonderfully complex tea. Creamy notes of caramel and cocoa, laurel and pine, give way to a finish of rich malt and smoke. Beautifully crafted, this full-bodied black tea, yields gentle toasty notes and a subtle lilt of smoke.

    • brewing

      • 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml  
      • 195ºF/90ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 1 minute, and proceed.)  
      • Brew 4-6 minutes  
      • Good for 2 infusions
