No. 76, Matcha Iri Genmaicha


This tea is like having all of your favorite Japanese teas, at the same time. It's everything you never knew you always wanted. 

Rich and nutty Genmaicha (a blend of toasted rice and first flush sencha) is dusted with vibrant, freshly milled Matcha to create a brew that is perfectly toasty and deeply satisfying. We adore it, and hope you do too. It also makes a sensational latte.

Pairs well with: Chirashi, bagels and a schmear, leafy salads, onigiri, Macro Bowls, smoked fish, chocolate-tahini shortbread, The Lotte Berk Method, and lazy weekends upstate. 

Our Matcha Iri Genmaicha is only available in (2oz) or (16oz) nitrogen flushed bags, sealed in Japan to maximize the tea's freshness.

Origin:  Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan - 2022, Otsuka Family

    • Brewing Instructions

      • 1-2 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water  
      • 160ºF/70ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 3 minutes, and proceed.)  
      • Brew 3-5 minutes  
      • Good for 2 infusions
