Bersera graveolens, more commonly known in Spanish as palo santo is a wild, native tree found on the seasonally dry tropical coasts of Central and South America. Related to both frankincense and myrhh, the fragrant and resinous wood, when burned, lends a grounded and calming sense to an environment.

Palo santo translates to "holy stick" and has traditionally been used in spiritual healing and ritual purification since the time of the Incas.

    Approximate Dimensions: 5" W x 7" H (3 pc. set in hemp bag). Individual smudge stick ~ 3-4" H.

    Care: Light the tip of the stick then hold at a 45 degree angle pointing the top down towards the flame. Allow it to burn for 30 seconds to one minute, and then blow out the flame. Place the stick on a fireproof plate, bowl or shell to catch ash. After use, extinguish with water or sand.

    *Use caution when handling flames. Keep away from children & pets.
