No. 106, Champagne Oolong

                  Mineral ~ Muscatel ~ Incense

This simply stunning, famous Taiwanese oolong of slender black, amber and white tippy leaves produces an amber-hued brew just as beautiful. It yields a profile similar to a black tea, yet its rich mineral notes are highly suggestive of a green puerh. The Champagne Oolong, or Oriental Beauty Oolong as it is commonly named in the world of tea, reveals itself to be a multifaceted brew full of delicate aromas, a subtle hint of rose and a fleeting expression of cinnamon, that finishes with nods of incense and muscatel, both lingering and prominent.
