Maru Kyūsu Round Teapot with back handle is handcrafted in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture where is known as the biggest production center for teapots in Japan. Designed by Osamu Saruyama the chic black Tokoname ware kyūsu teapot by Azmaya is perfect for everyday use, not just for Japanese green tea but can also be enjoyed for all kinds of leaf tea. There is enough space inside to let the tea leaves to spread out for brewing, and it has a ceramic strainer made with fine holes made on thin and flat ceramic plate attached inside.

Designed by Osamu Saruyama the chic black Tokoname ware kyūsu teapot by Azmaya is perfect for everyday use, not just for Japanese green tea but can also be enjoyed for all kinds of leaf tea. There is enough space inside to let the tea leaves to spread out for brewing, and it has a ceramic strainer made with fine holes made on thin and flat ceramic plate attached inside. The lid is made to fit perfectly so that it keeps high sealability and it is also designed to allow smooth pouring until the very last drip called "golden drop".

This kyūsu teapot is yakishime wood-fired with non-glazed matt finish so that it holds aroma of tea and will make tea with richer aroma with every brew and also the smooth texture will shine and age beautifully as you use it.

The Round Maru Kyusu Teapot is small sized, it brews enough for 2 or 3 small cups of Japanese green tea.
