 This organic, fully oxidized black tea from Japan is a true testament to the precise standards of Mr. Konishi’s tea garden. Meticulously twisted leaves yield a wonderfully fragrant infusion suggestive of blackstrap molasses and plumeria with a subtle grace note of burdock. Sophisticated and deeply satisfying.

  • Brewing Instructions

    • 1-2 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water  
    • 195ºF/90ºC (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 1 minute, and proceed.)  
    • Brew 4-6 minutes  
    • Good for 2-3 infusions
