LaKyrsiew Estate is an exquisite, organic garden located in the misty and lush, cloud-covered hills of Meghalaya in eastern India. The garden is an enclave in the wild, completely bounded by forests; no cultivation takes places on neighboring lands.  The natural cultivation methods also attract abundant wildlife to the garden where monkeys, boar, civet, spotted deer are frequent visitors and the occasional leopard and King cobra can be spotted. 

This hand-picked first-flush tea, with it's quenching, smooth mouthfeel resonates on the palate with notes of cocoa, slightly unripe stone fruit, and delicate floral undertones. A remarkable, finely crafted tea. 

 Origin: Shillong, Meghalaya, India

Brewing Instructions: 

  • 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water  
  • 195ºF/90ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 3 minutes, and proceed.)  
  • Brew 4-6 minutes  
  • Good for 3-5 infusions
